Love means many things to everyone. Love is inevitable – it is meant to happen to everyone who’s got a heart that is vulnerable and ready to accent affection and care. Love happens the very first time we lay our eyes on someone we see. It causes all the sensitive feelings to tingle and mingle. If I say love is the most beautiful thing that happens to a person, it will not be wrong.
There have been many movies produced on love; many love stories, dramas, history movies based on love – there have been extraordinary love stories that made audiences cry their tears out. In 2012 too, many love stories came out, some of them went unnoticed, others made their presence felt. In today’s list I give all those top love stories 2012 that proved their excellence and mesmerised audiences.
10. The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2
Directed By: Bill Condon
Written By: Melissa Rosenberg
Top Billed Cast: Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner
IMDb Rating: 5.5/10
Our Take: Twilight haters, please don’t hate me for adding this movie in the list because it did have some moments of romance I didn’t actually like Twilight series but I do think it had some romantic entertainment to offer. Anyway, a nice ending of a half-loved-half-hated vampire franchise.
9. Step Up Revolution
Directed By: Scott Speer
Written By: Amanda Brody, Duane Adler
Top Billed Cast: Kathryn McCormick, Ryan Guzman, Cleopatra Coleman

Our Take: All those years they’ve been making dance movies with dance contests and games but not this one. Step Up Revolution has a creative take on the dancing. A bunch of dancers mesmerizing people and robbing while they do it. Not a very good movie but a good value for money, nevertheless.
8. Rock of Ages
Directed By: Adam Shankman
Written By: Justin Theroux
Top Billed Cast: Julianne Hough, Diego Boneta, Tom Cruise
IMDb Rating: 5.8/10
Our Take: Yes, it is musical and has some of the biggest names in the Hollywood industry. You would’ve expected a lot more from this one, but I’m sure you’ll find a plenty of what you expected. An above-average romantic musical with an entertaining cast.

Our Take: You don’t get to see Steve Carell in a serious movie and Keira Knightley in a comedy. Well it happened in this movie, an unlikely couple set on a journey when a man decides to reunite with his past crush. Watch how set of events make this movie a very good romantic movie of 2012.
6. Pitch Perfect
Directed By: Jason Moore
Written By: Kay Cannon
Top Billed Cast: Anna Kendrick, Brittany Snow, Rebel Wilson
IMDb Rating: 7.1/10

4. Safety Not Guaranteed

Top Billed Cast: Aubrey Plaza, Mark Duplass, Jake Johnson
IMDb Rating: 7.0/10

3. The Perks of Being a Wallflower
Directed By: Stephen Chbosky
Written By: Stephen Chbosky
Top Billed Cast: Logan Lerman, Emma Watson, Ezra Miller
IMDb Rating: 8.0/10
Our Take: This movie is all about Emma Watson and Logan Lerman. Emma Watson’s performance in the movie is commendable. And oh boy, what a progress for Logan Lerman. He’s improving his acting skills in every movie. This may look like another high school movie but believe me it is way better than that. A romance drama brimmed with great performances.
2. Moonrise Kingdom

This movie takes a cute & creative take in moviemaking by bringing two kids together in a journey to defy stereotypical rules and be themselves. A vibrant, vivacious and sublime love story which is not to be missed – at all!
